The Black sandy beach by Jökulsárlón
This trip takes you a long the south coast of Iceland all the way to the famous Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Along the way we will stop and photograph some of Iceland's most iconic places such as Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Skógafoss, black sandy beaches near Vík, the southernmost town of Iceland to name a few. On this tour you'll experience dramatic changes in the landscape. Depending on what you wan't we can choose to put more emphasis on waterfalls, or to put more emphasis on the beautiful coastline close to Vík. During the summertime we might just be lucky enough to see some Puffin a long the way.
Enroute to Jökulsárlón we will also have the opportunity to stop in Eldhraun lava field. It's clad with moss and is always a spectacle to see. The moss is literally centuries old since the lava originated from Laki fissure system which erupted in 1783. The eruption itself lasted for some 8 months wreaking havoc all over Europe.
Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon are itself is always brimful of opportunities for us photographers and rarely lets anyone down.
